Almost spring.

Some new pictures today. Today we had really nice weather and I have been playing with my Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens, making pictures of the crocuses that are blooming in our garden. This lens has a wonderful soft glow that at wide apertures gives the pictures a dreamy quality I really like. At smaller apertures it is quite sharp as proven by the picture of a crocus with an unexpected visitor. Also some lovely orchids from last week’s short visit to an orchid nursery.
