Horses, sheep and more….

A lot of  new pictures today. Very special Skudde sheep, a few chickens and goats and some Tinker and Fjord Horses. Except for the goats they were all photographed on a small farm. ( Thank you Jarig and Eva for the opportunity ). Then last week we spent a few days at the Dutch national park Lauwersoog, where we had some wonderful encounters with Highlander cows and Konik horses. Both seemed as curious about us as we were about them. The pictures of the Konik horses were taken very late in the afternoon, only 45 minutes before sundown and the light was simply beautiful. Too bad I could only take a few, because when the stallion came closer, the mares became agitated, so we had to leave. We will try to go back sometime this winter, if we get some snow.
